What this extension does

Jira Ticket Collector is an internal Chrome extension used with flowimax to collect the Jira ticket currently selected by a user and analyze whether it requires tagging.

Information handled

When a user explicitly starts an analysis, the extension may read the selected Jira ticket's:

  • issue key, summary, project, type, status, priority, labels and components;
  • description, relevant custom fields and comments;
  • attachment and linked-issue metadata; and
  • source URL and parser warnings needed to explain the result.

The extension does not read or store Jira passwords, cookies, authentication tokens or browser history.

How information is used

Ticket data is transferred over HTTPS to the authenticated flowimax service to classify the ticket, retrieve relevant implementation guides and generate a report-ready reason. The service may send the relevant ticket context to the configured Gemini API for this same analysis purpose.

flowimax stores authenticated user activity metadata such as ticket key, summary, result, confidence, reason, source URL, guide count and field/comment counts. The activity log does not store the complete ticket description or complete comment text.

Sharing and limited use

Data is shared only with the flowimax service and its configured Gemini provider when required to provide the ticket-analysis feature. It is not sold, used for advertising, used for profiling or shared with unrelated third parties. Humans do not review ticket content unless the user or an authorized company administrator explicitly requests support or investigation.

Our use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security and retention

The extension restricts access to the company Jira domain and the flowimax domain, validates the sender and ticket key, sanitizes exported HTML and uses HTTPS for production requests. Authentication is handled by the flowimax session; the extension does not manage Jira credentials.

Stored activity metadata is retained only for the internal review-history and audit features. An authorized administrator may remove records according to the company's retention process. For deletion or privacy questions, contact the flowimax administrator through your company support channel.

Consent and contact

Starting an analysis is an affirmative user action. By selecting the analysis action, the user confirms that the selected ticket data may be processed for the purpose described above. This tool is intended for authorized company users and internal Jira content only.
